  • Kitara vs. Wakiso Giants – Masindi Municipal Stadium, 4pm

Kitara have a chance to move top of the table if they beat Wakiso Giants who they clash with on Tuesday at Masindi Municipal Stadium.

The Royals come into the game buoyant after a 1-0 win away to KCCA last week and with BUL, table leaders not in action until the next match day, victory over the Purple Sharks will lift them to the top.

The hosts will be favourites will clear favourites in the tie against a struggling visiting side that sits only five points above the drop zone and are without some key players through injury (Peter Ssenkungu, Tom Masiko) and national duty (Apollo Kagogwe).

However, they come into the game on the back of a 1-0 win at home against URA through a goal from Kenneth Kimera.

Former Wakiso Giants midfielder Lawrence Bukenya could make his league bow for the hosts after sitting on the bench in the last couple of games.

Denis Omedi, Brian Aheebwa and Jude Ssemugabi will be crucial to unlock the Purple Sharks backline.

Hot Stat: The only three league meetings between the two sides have produced 18 goals and two wins for Kitara (L1).
