Defeat leaves Vipers title chances in balance as they now drop to 5th on the log with 35 points, eight points adrift of table leaders Kitara but the venoms have two games in hand over the Royals.

KCCA climb to 8th position with 29 points after 20 games and next in line is a home game against Busoga United on March 29 and Vipers visit URA the following day.
