Former SC Villa and URA FC midfielder Dan Wagaluka has finally been unveiled at Tusker Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards. The former Cranes winger; a mid season acquisition from newly promoted Ugandan topflight side Soana FC was unveiled alongside four other buys by club chair person Allan Kasavuli at Nairobi Hotel.
Wagaluka who will be donning jersey number 25 joins defender Abbas Kiwalabye as the two Ugandans at the club this season. “I’m very happy to join AFC Leopards SC. I really wanted to play for this club and I’m happy that everything has now been completed”, Wagaluka told futaa.com.
Wagaluka also promised to work hard and impress new Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic in order to earn a recall to the national team. “I will now work hard to help the team do better and also get back to the national team. I’m sure I’ll do well and achieve these”, added Wagaluka. Other players unveiled at Ingwe include Michael Khamati, Peter Pinches Opiyo, Saadiq Abdikaadir, and Abdallah Juma.
