The Ambassador H.E Park Soo promised to improve the greatness of the Taekwondo Sports in Uganda and bring in more masters in Uganda to develop competitive taekwondo practitioners.

I give my thanks to the Uganda Taekwondo Federation. I would also like to express gratitude for the dedication and contribution of Taekwondo coaches from the different parts of the country and the players. The tournament has since 2017 become a wonderful platform to showcase the Ugandan people’s love and passion for Taekwondo. Now, Taekwondo serves as an art and a means of connecting the people of Korea and bring them together in Uganda. Through Taekwondo, Ugandans and Koreans are getting much closer everyday, every month and every year. I am hopeful that this Taekwondo boom spreads from the Ugandan military further to the entire country.
