Following the departure of John Ayala Luyinda, Wakiso Giants have unveiled the pair of Steven Bengo and Tonny Mawejje as head and assistant coach respectively.

The two signed a three-year contract each and will hope to keep the Purple Sharks afloat in the premier league.

“Welcome to the Purple Family,” read part of the statement on the club socials with pictures of the two.

“We are thrilled to announce Steven Bengo as our new Head coach and Tonny Mawejje as his assistant both on a three-year contract. Exciting times ahead for the Sharks.”

Bengo returns to the club he played for two years and also coached on interim.
