Match day three of the 2024 Buganda Masaza football championship was played on the weekend of Saturday, 13th and Sunday, 14th July.
There were home victories for Bulemeezi, Bugerere, Mawokota, Kabula and Mawogola.
It was the first win of the season for Bulemeezi in their 2-0 home triumph of Butambala at the Kosovo playground.
Four wins ended 1-0 for Bugerere, Mawokota, Kabula and Mawogola over Buddu, Ssese, Busiro and Gomba respectively.
Alfred Ejoyi scored Mawogola’s lone goal against struggling Gomba at the Mawogola ssaza playground in Ssembabule.
Ashiraf Kibungo (Mawogola) was man of the match.
This was Gomba’s third straight loss of the campaign following earlier defeats to Kyaggwe and Ssingo.
South Sudanese national Irivai Mamur was on target as Kabula edged Busiro 1-0 at the Bakijululula playground in Lyantonde.
Mamur was also named man of the match for his outstanding display and goal.

Mawokota won 1-0 over islanders Ssese in Buwama courtesy of Ashiraf “Neymar” Kigozi’s goal.
At the Ntenjeru playground in Kayunga, Sulaiman Ssentongo was the hero with the soletary strike as Bugerere overcame visiting Buddo 1-0.
This was Buddu’s second loss of the season after falling 0-1 to Butambala on match day one.
Ssentongo was named man of the match to take home a plaque, handed over to him by the Buganda Kingdom minister of sports, youth and arts Owek. Robert Sserwanga Ssalongo.

Ssingo won 2-1 on the road over Kooki. Calvin Peter Emayo and Shaban Kayongo got Ssingo’s two away goals with the consolation coming off Powel Owen’s own goal.
Three games ended in stalemates; Kyaggwe and Buwekula played one goal apiece.
Yusuf Mukwana scored for Kyaggwe at the Mukono Bishops playground before Samuel Lukoye replied for Buwekula.
Kyadondo and Buluuli ended goalless; and so was Buvuma and Busujju that was played on Saturday, 13th July 2024.

Match day four will come on Saturday, 20th July 2024 and on the subsequent day.
