All season round, Scrap Yard Pool Club have been in scintillating form. The players led by Wasswa and a deaf player (Ivan Kanyesigye), are surely enjoying the game of their lives.

In every game played, they have been composed and the high degree of competition has really yielded sweet dividends as the Kisenyi based pool side is surely destined for glory in the 2013 Senior pool league of the Pilsner League of Kings.

On Sunday, against game city pool club, their closest challenger to the crown, Scrap Yard once again proved the better side with a 12 -8 sweet victory that left their usually rowdy fans showering team player, Wasswa Kayiiya with money notes of Ug Shs 20,000 and 50,000 out of shur excitement.

“I feel good every time we win”, a rather shy Kayiiya, one of the best pool players in the country told Kawowo Sports in a brief interview at Mambule Pool Center at Kaleerwe, a Kampala City Surburb.

Charles Ssegawa, Ali Ssebana, Ronald Kizito, Wasswa Kayiiya and a deaf player in Ivan Kyansigye helped Scrap Yard to a resounding win, one of the giant strides to clinching the 2013 championships.

In the league one game played at Rock Catalina, Global. Com brightened their chances of promotion to the Senior Pool league with a 11 -8 victory over home team, Hot Pool Club on Saturday.

The other games played in league one, Rotez were 14 – 6 winners over Ronz, women’s league Rotex beat Capital night 6 -2 and Takers revenged to Rotex by an identical 6-2 victory and senior pool league will be updated as soon as possible.
