Badminton action

Overview:

Progressive SS Kitintale, Mbogo High School, Kakungulu Memorial and Lubaga Girls School are the girls schools to play Badminton. St Mary’s College Kisubi, Kibuli Secondary School, Kinawa High School Kawempe and Kakungulu Memorial School will play under the boys' docket.

The 2024 FEASSSA Games will be co-hosted by Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College School.

Among the games on the menu are indoor sports disciplines as Badminton.

This game will have only schools from Uganda and Kenya. Four Uganda schools will play in the girls category as and one Kenyan school.

Progressive SS Kitintale, Mbogo High School, Kakungulu Memorial and Lubaga Girls School are the four girls’ Ugandan schools with one Kenyan school.

This is the same in the boys’ category; St Mary’s College Kisubi, Kibuli Secondary School, Kinawa High School Kawempe and Kakungulu Memorial School with another Kenyan school.

The format of play will be round robin with every game counting for points to determine the overall winner per gender.

Badminton will be played at the main indoor arena that has been newly constructed at Bukedea Comprehensive school.

Besides Badminton, the other games at FEASSSA include football, basketball (3X3 and normal basketball), netball, Rugby (7’s and 15’s), handball, athletics, swimming, tennis, volleyball and table tennis.

Last year, the FEASSSA Games were hosted by Rwanda in Huye city.
