Volleyball action at 2024 USSSA Games

The 2024 FEASSSA Games will take center stage in Uganda, co-hosted at Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College School from 17th to 24th August.

The draws were already held on Monday, 12th August at the GNS Plaza in Kampala.

Football, among the highly anticipated sports disciplines at these games will still be held.

Girls:

There are two girls’ schools from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania with each pool divided into 5 teams apiece.

Group A has the Kenyan duo of Lugulu Girls High School and Kwanthanze Secondary School.

The other teams include Rwanda’s GS St. Aloys Rwamagana and two Ugandan schools; Seroma Christian High School and St Elizabeth Secondary School.

Group B has hosts Bukedea Comprehensive School and Nabisunsa Girls School from Uganda.

The other group B teams are Kesogon Secondary School (Kenya), Masasi Day Secondary School (Tanzania) and Soweto Secondary School (Kenya).

Boys:

For the boys, Group A has two Uganda ambassadors; Bukedea Comprehensive School and Hilton High School.

The three other schools are Nyabondo Boys Secondary School and Namwela Secondary School (Kenya) as well as Bugobwa Secondary School from Tanzania.

Group B has six teams namely; Namugongo Vocational and Secondary School (Uganda), St Augustine Minor Seminary (Uganda), Cheptil Secondary School (Kenya), Hospital Hill School (Kenya), Tabola Boys Secondary School (Tanzania) and Rwanda’s GSOB Huye.

The newly constructed Volleyball courts at Amus College will host the volleyball action.

Besides Volleyball, on the menu is Badminton, football, basketball (3X3 and normal basketball), netball, Rugby (7’s and 15’s), handball, athletics, swimming, tennis and table tennis.
