Uganda Cranes has further dropped one place to 86th at the latest FIFA/Coca Cola rankings released in Zurich on Thursday (28th November 2013).
The Cranes, rated on 417 points, recently was held to a goalless draw in an international match played at Namboole National Stadium has dropped from the 85th to the 86th on the log led by Spain (1507 points) who maintain the grip of the FIFA soccer playing leader-board.
Germany is second on 1311 points while Ivory Coast remains glued in the 17th position but the highest ranked nation in Africa on 918 points.
Ethiopia is 93rd (376 points), Kenya 117th (281 points), Tanzania is 124th (243 points), Rwanda is 127th on 229 points, Sudan in the 130 position with 218 points, Eritea 199th (16 points), South Sudan (201 on 10 points), Djibouti (203rd on 8 points) and Somalia is 204 with just 6 points making Uganda, the highest ranked nation still in the whole of the CECAFA Region.
CECAFA Guest nation, Zambia has also dropped 5 places from 68th to 72 on 505 points, 15tg on the African Continent.
Brazil made a leap into the top 10 footballing nations in the world with a one step rise with 1102 points whereas Christiano Ronaldo’s Portugal have been the biggest mover from 16th to 5th on 1172 points.
Overall, Cuba has been the nation with an overwhelming improvement having jumped a massive 27 places to 47th place with 641 points.
Other the other hand, the least performer is Guyana, dropping an embarrassing 33 places down the terrain to 150 in the 207 FIFA recognized nations in the entire world.
Countries, Anguilla, Buhuttan, San Marino, the Turks and Caicos Islands have not yet registered any point.
