Uganda Rugby Cranes international Adrian Kasito made his long-awaited debut for Tricastin Rugby Club on Saturday evening.

Kasito came off the bench in the fifty-first minute of Tricastin’s 10-06 home victory over Rugby Olympique Agathois in the Federale 1 Division of French Rugby. He joined Tricastin at the start of August, bidding farewell to KOBs Rugby Club for whom he had played for a decade.

The utility back, who primarily started his career as a scrumhalf and shifted to the fullback position, was deployed at the wing on his debut.

This was the opening matchday of the 2024-25 season. After one match, Tricastin sits joint-second in Pool 2 of the Federale 1 Division ranking.

The next match will be away against Rugby Club Chateaurenard on Saturday, September 14, at 4.45 p.m. EAT.
