Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Makerere University Business School (MUBS) played to a 1-all draw in group F during the 2024-2025 University Football League in Mbarara city on Wednesday, 25^th September 2024.

The opening stanza ended barren before Emmanuel Atuhire opened the scoring for MUST in the 50^th minute following a howler by goalkeeper Hillary Ayebare.

MUBS brought the game level in the closing moments in the 78^th minute through Joe Worrick Mbabazi with Joshua Biyinzika providing the assist.

MUST and two time winners MUBS are joint top in group F with the other team in the pool Muteesa 1 Royal University yet to play.

Tuesday’s contest in Group C between Kabale University and YMCA at the Kabale University sports grounds ended all square.

Meanwhile, the league continues on Thursday, 26^th September 2024 in Group E as Uganda Martyrs’ University (UMU) hosts West Nile based Muni University at the Nkozi campus.
