Pool player, Simon ‘The Computer’ Lubulwa is 21 years old but has already played for 3 different pool clubs in the top flight national league.

Christened “The Computer” for his near perfect style of attacking pool and the finesse of his shot execution, Lubulwa has once again transferred back to his ‘home’ team, Rock Catalina from Game City.

“Catalina presented to me an irresistible offer, so I had no option than to move to the side which I have always loved at heart”, the soft spoken Lubulwa, nicknamed the computer says.

Inspiration:

Lubulwa, who started playing the pool table game as far back as 2008 draws his inspiration to stick to in there to Simon Peter Kyobe.

“Kyobe inspired and encouraged me to play pool. By then (2008), I would train with Spice pool club. So Kyobe and Jonah ‘Joker’ Turigye are my ‘god-fathers’ in this game of pool, Lubulwa explains.

From Spice, ‘The Computer’ transferred to Rock Catalina in 2011 before joining Game City on 2013, where he has featured for a season.

Return to Catalina – the home:

Lubulwa refers to the return to Rock Catalina as a journey back home. “Transferring to Catalina is like a safe journey back home”, he says of the Ntinda based pool club, that forked a hefty Ug.x 500,000 transfer sign on fee.

Other notable pool transfers of the season include; Jonah ‘Joker’ Turigye from Takers to Scrapyard (Seed 5),  Fred Bonde Namanya from Takers to Isabella / Gals (seed 9), Joseph Mutawe from Perfection to Scrapyard (seed , Artman Kabubi from Volts to Scrap yard (seed 11), Charles Segawa from Scrap Yard to Isabella/ Gals, Denis Setumba from Game city to Isabella/ Gals and Ritah Ninsiima from Game city to Isabella /Gals
