Crocs and Protectors will face off in the Protector Rugby Super Series final on Saturday 12th April, following their enthralling week 3 performances.

Crocs beat fellow second place contenders Magicians 25-16, booking a series final encounter, and Bamburi Rugby Super Series representation slot along with the formidable Protectors franchise.

Crocs’ Adrian Kasita had his name to the score sheet twice for Augustine Kasansula’s try conversion and a penalty that aided Crocs 17 halftime lead, despite conceding an early Joseph Oyet penalty.

Magicians who will now take on Fimbo in the 3rd place play off on Friday 11th, tried to find their bearing through Kenneth Opita’s second half try, but couldn’t stop Lawrence Wakabi who crossed the white chalk for crocs’ last try.

Meanwhile, Sam Ahamya’s Fimbo franchise settled for a 20-20 draw against unbeaten Protectors, thanks to James Ssenoga and Ivan Wavamuno’s first half tries.

Man of the match Dennis Tialata and Solomon Okia scored Protector’s tries. The winner of the Protector Rugby Super finals will pocket 4 million Uganda Shillings, runner up 3 million while the third and last will walk away with 2 and 1 million respectively.
