2014 Bamburi Rugby Super Series Saturday — 26th April

Victoria Vs Chui at 2.00PM, Rwenzori Vs Papa at 4.00PM

Protector Rugby Super Series Crocs captain, Lawrence Wakabi will not make Uganda’s Rwenzori franchise in the Bamburi Rugby Super Series against Kenya’s Papa at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

This follows a call up to the national sevens team, automatically restricting his participation — a Bamburi Rugby Series condition synonymous with all national team rugby players.

Rwenzori’s other list of doubts includes top protector super series prop Ebber Aturinde, Impis’ injury blighted Adnan Mutebi and Ernest Byarugaba.

Rwenzori Coach, Allan Musoke who played in the 2010 edition for Victoria however insists on organising the team into a competitive outfit despite the seemingly fatal blows. “I have been hit quite a bit, but i have picked a number of players from Fimbo, so the squad is ready,” he said. T

he 2 Kenyan franchise teams, Papa and Chui arrived on Thursday and are expected to showcase tactical mastery and consistency aiming for the similar top spots.

Debutant coach, Robert Seguya who played for Rwenzori in 2012 and Victoria in last years’ edition takes charge of Victoria against Kenya’s Chui, a match that will kick off the series at 2.00PM.
