Kitara FC kept their fine form going on Saturday as they overcame URA FC 1-0 at the Royal Park in Butema, Hoima City.
The Royals earned a hard-fought win courtesy of Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye’s first half goal, a result that took their League unbeaten run to ten games. In that period, Kitara FC has not conceded a goal in the League.
In fact, the last time Kitara FC conceded a goal was against against Bright Stars (1-0 loss) on November 8 in what was the second game for coach Wasswa Bbosa at Kitara FC.
Tumwesigye got the lone goal of the game in the 37th minute, heading home from close range and this eventually turned out to be decisive moment of the gane.
The result takes Kitara FC to fourth place on 28 points one place and point above URA FC.
