Uganda Men kicked off their 2025 international 7s campaign with victory over Brazil.
This was at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Day One of the first round of the World Rugby HSBC 7s Challenger Series.
But unfortunately, they lost the second match against Samoa to keep them out of the semifinals of the tournament.
Uganda’s Day One Results:
- Uganda 24-14 Brazil
- Samoa 32-17 Uganda
Uganda finished second in Pool C with three points behind Samoa but ahead of Brazil.
They will play for the 5th place on Day Two.

One of the interesting bits about Uganda in the tournament is the introduction of a new pair of white and black playing kits designed by Mafro.
