First top-tier double in sight for Lugazi against Express FC

League newcomers Lugazi have an opportunity to register their maiden top flight double if they overcome visiting Express at Najjembe.

The Leaders got their first ever top flight win against the same opponents in the reverse fixture in a game that was handled by the first female head coach in the division, Oliver Mbekeka.

The second round comes at a time when Lugazi are even in better position, 11^th on the table with 20 points, eight behind Express but the hosts in a more confident mood than it was in the first-round clash.

Having lost to NEC 2-0 in the last outing, they will also be desperate to return to winning ways in front of their own fans.

However, they find a better Express than they did in the first round with the Red Eagles seeking to climb into top three.

They did beat Wakiso Giants 4-1 in their latest outing and will be out to avenge that embarrassing defeat in the first round that literally ended Baker Mbowa’s tenure as Express coach.

Elsewhere, table leaders Vipers visit Police at Kavumba while BUL are at home, Nakivubo stadium against Kitara in the 7pm kick off.
