Buhimba United Saints defeated visiting Paidha Black Angels 1-0 during match day 17 of the 2024-2025 FUFA Big League at the Kigaaya playground in Kikuube district on Thursday, 13th March 2025.
Following a goal-less opening 45 minutes, the game came to life when substitute Siraje Ismail scored in the 69th minute.
This was the all-important goal that earned Mark Twinamatisko and Paul Nkata’s led charges the maximum points on the evening.

Gaddafi squandered the opportunity to go top when they played to a 1-all draw with Kiyinda Boys football club at the Works playground in Entebbe.




Ambrose Kigozi gave Kiyinda Boys the lead in the opening stanza before Davis Kasirye replied for the hosts at the start of the second half.
Kiyinda Boys took the lead through their talismanic forward Kigozi in the 20th minute.
Kigozi scored a stunning goal from over 50 yards when his flying shot beat goalkeeper Muhammed Ssekebba for the opener well celebrated.
Former Vipers forward Kasirye capitalized upon a grave mistake by goalkeeper Martin Ssenkooto who fumbled a high ball and Kasirye was at the right time to pounce home for the equalizer.
Gaddafi has failed to win in three matches, earning a point from the possible nine points expected following back-to-back losses to Kaaro Karungi (0-1) and Kigezi Home Boyz (1-0) before the latest draw.
In the other game played on the day, Booma and Kataka played to a non-scoring draw at the Masindi stadium.
Three clubs will be promoted to the Star Times Uganda Premier League.
The bottom placed four clubs shall be demoted to the respective regional leagues.
