Former champions Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC ) current holders Inatek, new comers Rayon Sport and APR have all confirmed participation in the 18 edition of the NSSF-KAVC International.
The development was revealed by KAVC president Mofhat Masaba last week.
“They have all written back to us confirming their willingness to be part of this tournament,” said Masaba.
The tournament which is scheduled for August 8-10 (this weekend) is likely to attract more teams from Kenya and Burundi.
“We still expect teams from Burundi and Kenya and of course our brothers from Congo and South Sudan are yet to get back to us,” added Masaba.
Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) is also likely to send a women’s team just like last year.
“RRA is one of the foreign women’s team we are positive about, and this time round we are working so hard to have a foreign lady’s team from Kenya,” Masaba said.
Jeshi Stars is the other foreign outfit from Tanzania that has confirmed participation with a men’s side.
