MYDA secured a 1-0 victory against Blacks Power in the FUFA Big League encounter at Kongunga PS Ground, Bukedea.
With a man less, MYDA secured a hard-fought victory in front of the home crowd.
Eric Kamuhanda’s lonely strike secured maximum points for MYDA as the crowd was sent to the feet in jubilation.
After a goalless strike, MYDA’s goal came in the 51st minute before the goal scorer was sent off in the 80th minute.
It was the eighth victory for MYDA as they further rolled away from the relegation zone.
The loss will hold back Blacks Power’s chances to gain Uganda Premier League promotion after falling in fifth position.
MYDA will conclude the campaign with a visit to Kataka, a home game against Kaaro Karungi and a trip to Kigezi HomeBoyz.
