The decision for him to play football came from the father who preferred the son to train football with Proline Soccer Academy.
There is no sports background in my family. It is my dad who chose football, I was redundant, I was growing big, so my dad decided to take me to an academy such that I keep fit. I owe my development in the game to my dad who has supported me a lot.

Education:
Haroon commenced his elementary education journey at Boo Ali primary school in Pakistan.
Aged 8 years, he came to Uganda and was admitted at Buganda Primary school in P2.
He completed his primary seven class in 2023, earning a first grade with 12 aggregates before he was admitted to Aga Khan High school Kampala in 2024. Now, he is in S2.
Coaches help:
As a first timer, it took the bold assistance of Proline Soccer Academy coaches to help Haroon master the basics of the beautiful game; ball control, passing, dribbling, positioning, shooting, heading, ball protection and others.
Ronald Kaweesa and Hadijah “Lady Mourihoh” Namuyanja worked a great deal on harnessing Haroon’s skills.
When I arrived at Proline Soccer Academy, I was learning everything from scratch. Coach Kaweesa (Ronald) helped me a lot. I actually I love him so much, I developed skills, he made me love the sport. Even coach Hadijah (Namuyanj) added skills to me. I also watch football on YouTube to add on what the coaches give me.

Germany trip:
At the start of 2025, Haroon got a dream opportunity to travel to Germany with Proline Soccer Academy for a number of international friendly games.
This followed a cordial partnership between Proline Soccer Academy and Prosoc Academy.
One of the matches played was against US Youth Soccer – Europe which presented him with the hope and belief that he has the potential to play in Europe.
While in Germany, I got chance to train with USYS -Europe under sixteen team. They loved me and also encouraged me to keep pushing because I have the size, power but they told me to work on my speed which I am undertaking at the moment.

Haroon is a utility player comfortable at a number of positions as the right back, central midfield and the flanks.
He tackles with ease but aggression, a good passer of the ball, executes that perfectly weighted long ball and shoots promptly.
Haroon aspires to train well with a dream destiny of playing professional football in the tomorrow-years as he trends in the path of role model, Federico Santiago Valverde Dipetta, (Real Madrid midfielder).
