At the top, it is the firece battle to earn promotion and at the bottom, the struggle to avoid relegation.
Match day 28 was completed on Sunday, 8th June 2025 with a total of 17 goals scored in 7 matches across the different parts of the country.
In Masindi, Gaddafi used numerical advantage to hammer a hapless Booma 4-0 at the Masindi Municipal stadium.
Ronald Bithum Nsumbiano scored a brace with Charles Batiibwe Okello and Davis Kasirye adding the other goals.

Booma, already relegated failed to raise a full team at the very start with 7 players kicking off play.

Buhimba United Saints restored their summit status aloft the table standings with a point on the road over Kaaro Karungi during the 1-all stalemate in Ntungamo district, Western Uganda.
Kaaro Karungi scored at the death with a minute to deny Buhimba United Saints the maximum points.
John Wesley Kisakye had scored the opener inside the first ten minutes.
Mark Twinamatisko and Paul Nkata’s coached side has 49 points, one better than Calvary who were not in action on the day.
In Lira, Northern Uganda; Blacks Power humiliated Ntugasaze 5-0 at the PTC playground.
Baker Buyala and Paul Oonyu each scored a brace with Michael Siwu (penalty) adding the other.
Blacks Power who had gone four matches without victory remains in the fourth place and has now 45 points, one shy of Gaddafi with three matches to play.
Other matches:
Away in Eastern Uganda, Kataka Football Club edged MYDA at the Mbale City stadium.
Usama Khayemba scored the all-important goal on the stroke of the opening quarter hour mark.
Kataka thus completed a double over MYDA having also won the corresponding first round duel 1-0 at the Kongunga primary school playground in Bukedea.
This was Kataka’s 11th victory of the season in 26 matches, accumulating 36 points as MYDA succumbed to the 13th loss in the campaign.
With 29 points, MYDA is still on the fringes of the relegation red-line in the 11th position.
At the Pece Stadium in Gulu city, Arua Hill and Busoga United shared the spoils 1-all.

Kiyinda Boys and Onduparaka also played to a 1-all draw at Barthelem playground.
Ambrose Kigozi scored for Kiyinda Boys and Junior Andama replied for Onduparaka.
Earlier on Saturday, Kigezi Home Boyz edged visiting Paidha Black Angels 1-0 in Kabale.
Talisman Joseph Sseremba scored Kigezi Home Boyz’s goal in the 41st minute.

Promotion:
Three top clubs will earn direction promotion to the Star Times Uganda Premier League.
Demotion:
Four bottom placed clubs will be relegated to the respective regional leagues.
Apart from Onduparaka and Arua Hill, each of the clubs has two games left on the menu.
