Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger will lead a technical panel at the forthcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
Wenger who currently serves as FIFA Chief of Global Football Development has been appointed to head the Technical Study Group (TSG).
The group is composed of distinguished former players who excelled at the highest level and some have since transitioned into coaches.
The panelists include; Esteban Cambiasso (Argentina), Aliou Cissé (Senegal), Tobin Heath (USA), Jürgen Klinsmann (Germany), Roberto Martínez (Spain), Gilberto Silva (Brazil) and Pascal Zuberbühler (Switzerland).

The team will be tasked to provide cutting-edge analysis of all matches at the tournament, increasing and developing understanding of the game worldwide.
The group will also observe matches, pinpoint tactical trends, innovations, and illustrate them using insights and data provided by the FIFA Football Performance Insights team.
In addition, the TSG is responsible for selecting individual award winners and the team awarded the fair play prize at FIFA tournaments.
Besides analysing the on-pitch action, the group studies trends and benchmarks for the future of the game and their impact on coach education and talent development.
