Overview:
Ibrahim "Kizota" Kizito was the top scorer in the Uganda Premier League during the 1995 season with Uganda Electricity Board Football Club. During that season, He netted 20 goals to his name.
Ibrahim “Kizota” Kizito, 54, a former Uganda Cranes player is dead.
Kizito, died at Kiruddu national referral hospital on Tuesday, 24th June 2025 after some spell of ill health.
The forward was the top scorer in the Uganda Premier League during the 1995 season with Uganda Electricity Board Football Club.
During that season, he netted 20 goals to his name as UEB finished 13 points behind the champions Express.
Kizito was born on 30th March 1971. He started playing football at Katwe Noor Islamic primary school and was nick-named “Pele” because of his exceptional dribbling abilities like the legendary Brazilian Pele.

His football journey commenced at Nsambya Central (third division), Kansanga United (third division), Railway (second division), Police (second division) and Posta (second division).
Super division:
Kizito was promoted to the top tier division at Spear Motors Football Club.
He also played for the “VEK” clubs, Sports Club Villa, Express and KCC before featuring at UEB and Police with a stint in the United Arab Emirates.
As a coach, he handled several domestic clubs including Lugazi Football Club before he ventured in the murky professional waters at Etincelles in Rwanda.

A decent send-off has been planned for the ex-international on Wednesday, 25th June 2025 (2 PM) at Kikunyu Buyega after Kabasanda before Kibibi.
He will be laid to rest at the home of Sheik Abudallah Aziz Ssematimba.
Kizito is an uncle to current Police Football Club midfielder Rayn Figo Kizito.
