Usama Arafat and Patrick Kakande could follow Travis Mutyaba to North Africa following expiration of their respective contracts at KCCA and SC Villa.
The two, currently training with Uganda Cranes team preparing for the TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) are free agents.
With Mutyaba leaving France’s non-league side Girondins Bordeaux for Tunisia’ CS Sfaxien, Kawowo Sports understands he could be joined by compatriots Usama and Kakande.
Both players have concrete interests from yet to be revealed clubs although it is understood that offers have come from a couple of Tunisian and Egyptian clubs.
The deals are only delayed by their involvement with Uganda Cranes as the FA wants the two to feature during CHAN that kicks off on August 02.
Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania are co-hosting the tournament with the Cranes in Group C alongside Algeria, South Africa, Guinea and Niger.
