For preparations we have restored all the 36 sand bunkers on the course since 15years ago fueled by Hima cement and other well wishers. This is part of the 10year strategic plan to make Kilembe Mines Golf Club the centerpiece of Golf tourism given its strategic location in the midst of Uganda’s critical national parks; Rwenzori mountain, Queen Elizabeth national parks and 2hrs drive to the primate capital of the world, Kibale Forest National Park and the Mountain Gorillas In Bwindi impenetrable national Park. We want to encourage the local and global golf traffic to come enjoy a great round of golf on a challenging course and take in our nature and diverse cultures.
