Uganda Premier League side URA FC has extended Joshua Lubwama’s employment contract for the next two years until 2027.
The development was confirmed via the club’s official website today, Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
“URA FC is delighted to announce the towering utility player Joshua Lubwama Letti has extended his stay for two more years,” the statement partly reads.
Lubwama joined the Tax Collectors in January 2023 from Wakiso Giants and his versatility has been a great piece in URA’s team since he can play both as a defender and midfielder.
Lubwama becomes the sixth player to extend his stay at URA following Laban Tibita, Joseph Semujju, Moses Aliro, and Ibrahim Wamanah.
Speaking to the club media, Lubwama is fully committed to giving everything going forward.
“I am fully committed to giving my all every time I step on the pitch,” the lanky player said.
“I feel proud and honoured to continue with URA FC. The belief from coaches, my teammates and the fans means everything, and I look forward to achieving even more together,” he concluded.
