Uganda Premier League side BUL FC has confirmed the extension of George Kasonko’s employment contract for another year.
The development was brought to the public via the club’s official website today, Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
“BUL FC can announce midfielder George Kasonko has renewed his contract with the club for one year,” the statement partly reads.
Kasonko joined the oil manufacturers from Busoga United in the 2020/21 campaign before being named the club captain.
He has guided the team to a Uganda Cup triumph in 2022 and two Super Eight titles in 2023 and 2024.
Speaking to the club media, Kasonko revealed that he is excited to keep pushing for more success at the club that has turned into home.
“I am thrilled to be continuing my journey with BUL FC. This club is like a second home to me, and I’m excited to keep pushing for more success with this great team,” he said.
“I want to thank the management, coaching staff, and my teammates for their support. Let’s keep working hard, we shall achieve more together,” he concluded.
