Uganda Premier League BUL has confirmed the signing of a young forward, Lawrence Kambugu, in the ongoing transfer window.
The development was confirmed via the club’s official website today, Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
“Lawrence Kambugu has signed for the BUL FC on a two-year contract,” the statement partly reads.
The forward joins BUL FC from second-tier side Ntugasaze as a free agent, and the two-year employment will keep Kambugu at the Jinja-based side until 2025.
The 18-year-old forward is a product of Rays of Grace Academy, and this transfer offers him a chance to play in the top tier after playing for Gaddafi.
Speaking to the BUL media after putting pen to paper, Kambugu revealed that he has joined the club to help it meet its targets.
“I thank God and BUL FC for the opportunity. I am here to help this club meet its targets. It is a big team with a winning mentality and I love winning too,” the player stated.
