FUFA Women Super League side Kawempe Muslim has confirmed the contract extension of midfielder Shakirah Nyinagahirwa.
The development was brought to the public via the club’s official social media channels.
“The team captain Shakira Nyinagahirwa has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract,” the statement partly reads.
Nyinagahirwa has spent recent months on the sideline due to a knee injury which she has managed to shake off.
The agile midfielder finished the 2022-23 FWSL campaign top scorer with 12 goals before being named the Most Valuble Player.
Kawempe faced stiff competition from different local and international club but managed to convince her to extend stay at the club.
Kawempe continue to strengthen their ranks ahead of a highly anticipated game.
