Uganda fell to Cameroon in a 57-50 loss in the AfroBasket U16 encounter at Kigali, Petit Stade on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Cameroon extended their lead to 13 points (35-22) going into the long break.
At the end of the third quarter, Cameroon maintained a 13-point (51-38) lead setting up an intresting final period.
Uganda limited Cameroon to only six points as they reduced the deficit to only seven points at the end of the fourth quarter.
Nolan Ngangmeni (13 points), Luther Maboula (11 points), and Felix Deumi (10 points) led Cameroon’s scoring chart.
Joshua Bwakanda (11 points), Laurent Rwuhiriro (11 points) and Shammah Kwizera (10 points) led Uganda’s chart in double digits.
