FUFA Women Super League side St Noa Girls has confirmed Tonny Mawejje as head coach.

The development was confirmed via the club’s social media platforms today, Thursday, September 25, 2025.

“We are excited to welcome Tonny Mawejje as our new Head Coach,” the statement partly reads.

“With his (Tonny Mawejje) experience and passion for developing talent, he is ready to take St Noa to new heights,” the statement added.

Mawejje replaces Jimmy Kintu Mwera, who recently switched to Uganda Premier League newbies Calvary FC.

The gaffer has previously worked as an assistant coach at FUFA Women Super League reigning champions Kampala Queens WFC under Charles Ssenyange Kadidi.

After a short stay at Kampala Queens, he joined Wakiso Giants, where he worked as an assistant coach under Steven Bengo.

While at St Noa, Mawejje will be handling the head office for the first time, which is quite a tough challenge for the former Uganda Cranes midfielder.

Mawejje’s first game in charge will see St Noa take on Amus College on Saturday, October 4, as the 2025/26 campaign gets underway.
