Namuwongo Blazers’ request to have the National Basketball League Playoff Finals postponed has been granted.

The Blazers, preparing for their first-ever continental engagement, requested that the Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) postpone the finals, with their focus on preparing for the Road to BAL that starts with the zonal qualifiers.

The Zone V Qualifiers will be played from October 14-19 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Today, the Federation announced that the finals, in which the Blazers will be facing the ten-time champions City Oilers in the finals for a second time, will start on Sunday, October 26.
