The Ntare Lions League (NLL) set itself out to be the premier alumni league in the country, and with every season, the standard keeps going up.

The league that started over a decade ago has grown in leaps and bounds, including taking its Season 14 grand finale to the Rwandan capital, Kigali, as well as Jinja previously.

The League, which brings together old boys of Ntare School, continues to go places and break limits as it continues to grow its influence across different cultures.

However, the league has not had a permanent home, with games played at several grounds around Kampala. That, however, is about to change after the Lions League set a target of hosting the Season 16 grand finale at a new permanent home.

Season 16 is set to kick off tomorrow (Sunday, October 5) at King’s Park Arena in Bweyogerere as the League ushers in a new team – Akachai FC.

The opening matchday will have all 20 teams of the league in action.
