Uganda U17 Boys Football National Team, The Cubs, will have three friendly games in Dubai as part of their final preparations ahead of the U17 FIFA World Cup.
The team left Uganda for Dubai, UAE on Monday and will spend the next ten days there, before connecting to Qatar, where the World Cup will be held from 3rd to 27th November.
FUFA has confirmed the team will take part in the Dubai Youth Challenge, where three games are lined up.
“The Uganda U-17 Men’s National Team is participating in international friendly matches in the United Arab Emirates as part of preparations for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025. Uganda will face Venezuela, Panama and Paraguay in the international friendlies,” reads a statement from FUFA.
The game against Venezuela is slated for Thursday, 23rd October, while Uganda will take on Panama and Paraguay on Sunday, 26th and Tuesday, 28th, respectively.
Uganda Cubs will be making their debut at the U17 FIFA World Cup and are pooled in Group K alongside Chile, France and Canada whom they open up with on 5th November.
