Kaaro Karungi Football Club got off the mark with a convincing 3-0 home win over Onduparaka in the 2025-2026 FUFA Big League on Sunday, 26th October 2025 at the Kyamate Playground in Ntungamo district.
A well-taken brace from Walter Lubangakene and another strike by Ronald Turyasima gave Kaaro Karungi their first victory of the season.
Bast Ssemuyaba’s charges were yet to earn another maximum points since the first round kicked off.

Matchday five witnessed a total of 12 goals scored at various venues across the country.
Wakiso Giants defeated visiting Nebbi Central 4-2 at the Hamz stadium (Nakivubo War Memorial grounds) in the heart of the capital, Kampala.
Annest Ankunda scored a brace, Bashir Mutanda and Issa Bugembe added a goal apiece for Wakiso Giants.
Samuel Obedmoth and William Muguromo scored Nebbi Central’s goals.
Kataka edged arch-rivals Mbale Heroes 1-0 in the Mbale derby played at the Mbale City Stadium.
Marcus Akii’s strike was the all-important goal for Kataka who are coached by Godfrey Awachango (Toldo).

Soltilo Bright Stars won 1-0 on the road away to Kiyinda Boys while Ntugasaze settled for a one-all draw with Young Elephants.
Three games ended goalless after ninety minutes; Bunyaruguru United with Kigezi Home Boyz, Iganga United against Paidha Black Angels and CATDA’s home contest with Blacks Power.
Three clubs will be promoted to the Uganda Premier League by the end of the season in May 2026.
