JKL Lady Dolphins have fully taken control of the ongoing National Basketball League Playoff Final series after winning game four.

The Lady Dolphins secured a hard-fought 69-61 victory against JKL Lady Dolphins in the NBL encounter at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Friday.

With a third victory in four games, the Lady Dolphins sit comfortably in the driving seat knowing another victory would seal the series.

The Lady Jaguars came out of the blocks early starting with a 6-0 run before Hope Akello poured in a 3-point jumpshot in response. It was a toe-to-toe opening period that ended 19-19.

Rhoda Nagitta concluded the second period with a driving layup as the Lady Jaguars went into the halftime break trailing by two points (36-32).

The Lady Jaguars came from the locker rooms fired up thus limiting the Lady Dolphins to only eight points in the third quarter. The fight put awarded the a slim two-point lead (46-44) at the end of the period.

When push came to shove, the Lady Dolphins were firing from all cylinders as they gave the Lady Jaguars all sorts of hardtime on the day. At last, the Lady Dolphins secured an eight-point victory.

Hope Akello (17 points), Evelyn Nakiyingi (12 points) and Ritah Imanishimwe (11 points) led the Lady Dolphins in double digits.

Mercy Batamuliza (18 points and 20 rebounds), Rhoda Nagitta (11 points) and Shakirah Nanvubya (11 points) reached double digits for the Lady Jaguars.
