The official netball draws and fixtures for next year’s Commonwealth Games have been unveiled by Glasgow 2026.

The twelve world’s best teams, including Uganda, are set to go head-to-head over nine days from Saturday, 25 July to Sunday, 2 August 2026.

The 12 competing nations have been divided into two groups, with Uganda’s She Cranes drawn into Pool B alongside the world’s second and third-ranked New Zealand and Jamaica, respectively.

Groups

  • Pool A: Australia (1), England (4), South Africa (5), Malawi (8), Tonga (9), Northern Ireland (12) 
  • Pool B: New Zealand (2), Jamaica (3), Wales (6), Uganda (7), Scotland (10), Trinidad & Tobago (11)

The She Cranes will be in action on the opening day, taking on Wales, followed by Trinidad & Tobago, then battle Jamaica and New Zealand in succession before completing the group schedule against hosts Scotland.

Uganda’s Group Fixture (EAT)

  • Saturday, July 25: Wales vs. Uganda – 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 26: Uganda vs. Trinidad & Tobago – 10:00 p.m.
  • Monday, July 27: Jamaica v. Uganda – 10:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 28: New Zealand vs. Uganda – 10:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 30: Uganda vs. Scotland – 12:00 Noon

Uganda has previously played at two editions of the Commonwealth Games, finishing 6th in 2018 in Gold Coast, Australia and 5th in 2022 in Birmingham, England.
