Decision making is a key component of man’s livelihood. You decide right, You reap big, and You decide wrongly, you bury yourself for good ,but it looks like 28 year old Simon Sserunkuma’s act to part ways with Vipers SC  and join Wankulukuku based club Express F.C has quickly produced honey.

Time came when the silky winger had a tag of wasted talent on his shirt that required more empathy than condemnation.

He was at one point, believe it or not, the most expensive teenage player when he engineered a big money move from Victors F.C to SC Villa in 2008.

Sincerely, few players could take that stand to leave a well facilitated side like Vipers SC to an Express side that is a work in progress. With a smile on his face, Sserunkuma spoke to to Kawowo Sports.
It is normally hard to leave a home where they are cooking food and go to a home where food is just being peeled but surprisingly I did that move. I had to decide once and for all where I could revive my talent and it looked like Wankulukuku was a safe place for me and that is exactly what I advice other players to do if they are to achieve in local football.
The former SC Villa player joined the paid ranks last week after he completed a two year deal to Tanzanian giants Simba for an undisclosed fee. He joined his countrymen in Emmanuel Okwi, Joseph Owino, Juuko Murishidi and Danny Mzee Sserunkuma.

His former coach, Wasswa Bbosa was also happy to so see his deal go through.
As the club, we are proud of him because he has been working hard and his efforts have paid off. It has been our culture at Express F.C is to discover new and wasted talent then if the right time comes we let you go and that is what we did to Simon Sserunkuma. He will be a big signing for Simba.
Sserukuma further said that he can not wait to play in a three man attack with namesake Danny Sserunkuma and former club mate Emmanuel Okwi.
I think it will be a deadly attack because both Mzee and Okwi have bags of talent and I can complement the two. Teams will face it rough if we get a day together on the same pitch.
His former teammates at Express F.C also told kawowo sports what they throughout of the move.

Kalyowa Emmanuel (attacking Midfielder):
Surely we will miss him because he has been taking the team forward but also Simon’s departure should be a lesson to other players left behind to emulate his hardworking spirit ,so that they also make such dream moves a reality
Ivan Mutumba (Goal keeper):
Hard work pays and possibly Simon’s efforts paid off. We wish him a good stay in Tanzania.
