The Fortebet Real Stars Monthly awards are back with the month of November 2025 nominations.
It was a long grueling month for active action where the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh city and the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar took center stage.
Elsewhere, there was domestic action in golf and local football as well as in other sports.
Aquatics and athletics shine in Riyadh:
Two runners and a swimmer have been nominated from the Islamic Solidarity Games.
Anna Gloria Muzito makes the nomination for her three medals won at the championship in the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and 200m freestyle races.

Muzito who is based in Hungary won two gold medals in the 50m and 100m freestyle races before taking silver in the 200m freestyle.
She was by far the best individual performer with three medals in a championship where Uganda finished with a total of 13 medals.
Athletics nominees:
Two long distance runners Rebecca Chelangat (10,000m women) and Samuel Simba Cherop (10,000m men,5000m men) are also nominated.


Chelangat won gold in the 10,000m women race whilst Cherop earned silver in the 10,000m men race and bronze in the 5000m race.

Football:

In the sport of golf, three on-form players David Kamulindwa (Professional category) as well as two amateurs Joseph Cwinya-ai and Meron Kyomugisha are also nominated.



Kamulindwa won two championships in November in Masindi (Kinyara Open) and the Equity Naro open (Namulonge). Cwinya-ai was outstanding in Masindi (Kinyara open), Jinja (Kakira open) and came second in Namulonge, behind Dominic Musoke.
Kyomugisha’s star shone in Masindi and Namulonge.
The crowning ceremony will take place this Tuesday, 9th December 2025 at Lazio Restaurant in Kololo, Kampala.
