Uganda Cranes’ final squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations is confirmed as the tournament draws closer to its kickoff.

Coach Paul Put has revealed his final squad of 28 players that will represent the country in Morocco.

The final squad has been trimmed from the 30-man provisional team that was summoned. Therefore, goalkeeper Charles Lukwago and David Owori are the players who have been dropped.

The team is currently in Morocco, where they pitched camp to embark on preparations for the highly anticipated tournament.

The final squad features youngster James Bogere, fresh from representing Uganda at the U17 World Cup in Qatar.

Bogere has been impressive at the Junior Team level, and coach Put believes he has what it takes to perform at the bigger stages.

Uganda is in Group C alongside Nigeria, Tunisia and Tanzania. The first game for the Cranes will come on 23rd December against Tunisia in Rabat.
