Matchday One of the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations successfully came to an end on Wednesday, capping off with the clash between Cameroon and Gabon. At this stage, every team has now played a game, bringing the total number of matches played to twelve.

Despite the unfavourable weather conditions, fans have been able to make their way to the stadiums to watch their teams in action across all the six host cities of Morocco.

According to reports, 236, 849 fans have attended matchday one games, which is in an improvement on the 197,880 that watched round one games in Ivory Coast in 2023.

Matchday Two starts on Friday with hosts Morocco returning to action at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, taking on Mali while Comoros will face Zambia in Casablanca.

On the same day, Group B action will see Egypt take on South Africa in Agadir while Angola will face Zimbabwe in Marrakesh.
