AFCON 2025 (Final)

Senegal 0-0 Morocco (Half-Time)

Thousands of spectators watching the 2025 AFCON final between Senegal and Morocco at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium will boldly confess, the two continent’s best teams are in action.

With no goal to show after the opening 45 minutes, there are plenty of take-aways.

The fans are off the seats watching a full package of the beautiful game with physical and mental attributes.

Both teams have the tactical discipline with offense and defensive strategies.

Senegal has had a big chance not converted through Everton’s Iliman Cheikh Baroy Ndiaye whose effort in the 34th minute was saved by Al Hilal goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.

Sadio Mane and Nicolas Jackson have also troubled the Morocco backline although they remained in shape not to concede.

The host’s team real threat and chance at the Senegalese goal fell to a missed header by defender Nayef Aguerd who failed to connect to Abdessamad Ezzalzouli’s inviting delivery from the left.

The next 45 minutes are definitely eagerly awaited and will produce the sparks anticipated.

In case of a draw in normal time, an additional extra 30 minutes and possible penalties will be played.

Senegal won their only AFCON trophy in 2021 whilst Morocco’s solo title came in 1976.
