Nemostars secured a commanding 3-0 victory against UCU Doves in the National Volleyball League at Yes Centre, Nsambya on Saturday.
After a break, the second round got underway today as the two sides climaxed the day’s business.
UCU Doves put up a great fight in the first set but their game ended at that since they were shadows of themselves in the second and third sets.
Despite the hard pipers from Mark Omara and Geoffrey Onapa, the opening set was littered with errors as it went to Nemostars 26-24.
In the second set, Nemostars got on fire with George Aporu’s red-hot swings as the Mukono-based side’s block was pierced.
It was a one-way traffic as Bernard Malinga found his way through the middle to give Nemostars the second set 25-15.
Despite having a great attack, Nemostars captain Aporu struggled in the serving box as most of his hits went into the net.
Onapa’s hit over the UCU Doves’ block put a lid on the game (25-16) concluding the long busy day of Volleyball.
