Divine Mukasa has won the English Youth FA Cup twice on successive seasons in the 2022-2023 season with West Ham United and the subsequent 2023-2024 season with Manchester City. He has already featured for the English U-15, U-16, U-17 and currently the U-18 youth national teams.
Divine Tayon Mahogany Mukasa has joined Leicester City on loan for the rest of the season from Manchester City.
Speaking on his move to The Foxes, Mukasa says he cannot wait to learn from the experience as the side aim to push up from 16th in the table.
“I’m really pleased to be here and grateful for the opportunity. This is a great environment for me to learn, gain experience and continue my development. I want to work hard every-day, take on everything I can from the staff and players around me, and contribute wherever I’m able to help the team” Mukasa remarked after being unveiled.

At Under-21 level this season, he has scored seven goals in 13 outings and across the Under-18 Premier League, UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup, Mukasa has scored 17 goals and registered 24 assists across 34 appearances.
He will now seek to continue that form into the Championship, which will be a very tough test for the teenager under manager Martí Cifuentes.

Mukasa whose father is Ugandan and the mother from Lithuania joins other new signings as Joe Aribo (from Southampton), veteran defender Jamaal Lascelles (from NewCastle United) and Dujan Richards.
Mukasa’s loan spell at Leicester City represents a critical phase in his development, offering him consistent first-team exposure in a competitive league, while providing Leicester with a promising talent capable of impacting their bid for improved form.
Leicester City visits Birmingham on Saturday, 7th February 2026 before hosting Southampton on Tuesday, 10th February 2026 at the King Power Stadium, Leicester.
