There will be nine premier league sides in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 after overcoming their opponents in the round of 32.
Giants KCCA, SC Villa, Vipers and joint record holders Express lead the cast of the top tier sides in the next draw.
Holders Vipers were the overwhelming winners beating Pajule Lions 6-0 at Kitende while KCCA and Express also made it to the round after eliminating Mbarara City and Ntugasaze 1-0 and 2-0 respectively.
Nine-time cup winners and premier league record champions SC Villa overcame BUL on penalties following a 2-2 draw at Fufa stadium, Kadiba, NEC overcame UPDF 2-0 at Bombo while Lugazi shocked Police 2-1 at Kiira Road Arena with Kitara also beating Entebbe UPPC 2-0 at Royal Park Butema.
Now, the premier league sides will turn focus to the league next week with draws for the next round to be confirmed soon.
