Cosmos De Bafia Coach Thomas Libiih is confident his side can overturn the 1-0 deficit suffered at the hands of KCC to progress to the next round.
The Cameroonian side lost 1-0 to KCC at Namboole in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League through Herman Wasswa strike and finished with 10 men after sending off Patrick Nai towards the half hour mark.
“We were unlucky to lose,” Libiih told Kawowo Sports after the defeat. “We played well and created chances especially in the first half which we failed to put away and only conceded a lone goal late yet we were a man down,” he added.
The ex-Cameroon international adds that the game in Yaoundé will be much different altogether.
“They are good a side but believe me, the game in Yaoundé will be different. Am confident we shall edge them and go to the next round.”
Cosmos De Bafia need to win by a two goal margin to advance to the next stage where the winner meets Tunisia’s Esperance.
