All is set ahead of the 2026 Longe ladies golf open at the 10-hole MaryLouise Simkins Memorial golf club Namulonge.
This tournament will tee-off on the 21st May with the silver category of golfers who will play for 36 holes.

Organizers have expressed readiness to have a successful event where 120 players are expected to take part.
“We are well prepared for this tournament to have a successful tournament. The greens are good and we cannot wait to host you. Our team has done a good job to organize a largely successful championship” lady captain Sheila Aine.

The silver players will be playing for three million and the top five will be rewarded.
There will be enticing prizes for the bronze and subsidiary cluster (men and seniors).
Sponsors commitment:
The tournament different stakeholders and sponsors have committed significant financial resources to ensure that the championship is a complete success.
From Uganda Ladies Golf Union, Equity Bank, Ka Chain Logistics, Crown Beverages, Nile Breweries Limited to Munig Engineering Solutions Limited, all have offered a significant amount of money.
“Equity Bank is committed to the development of golf. Equity Bank is committing to enlarging the course and plant more trees on the course” Damalie Matama, Equity Bank representative remarked.


There will be a colourful awards ceremony after the main championship on the evening of Saturday, 23rd May 2026.
The 19th hole dress code will be denim and white.
