FIFA has confirmed the base camps of all the 48 teams that will take part at this year’s FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and United States.

The team based across the 16 host cities will play a key role for the participating nations. Every team is attached to a world-class training facility.

In this article, Kawowo Sports looks at the team bases for the ten African teams that will play at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Algeria who are in Group J alongside defending Champions Argentina, Austria and Jordan will be based in Kansas.

Debutants Cape Verde will be based in Tampa, a city on Tampa Bay, along Florida’s Gulf Coast, known for its museums and other cultural offerings.

Cape Verde is in Group H that also has Spain, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.

DR Congo who return to the World Cup for the first time since 1978 will be based in Houston. The Leopards are in Group K alongside Portugal, Uzbekistan and Colombia.

Ivory Coast will have their camp base in Philadelphia while Egypt will be in Spokane, Washington.

The Black Stars of Ghana will be based in Boston, Morocco in New York, New Jersey same as Senegal.

Tunisia and South Africa who will play in Mexico will be based in Monterrey and Pachuca respectively.
